George has always had a competitive background which has intertwined with his passion in the esports space. Before heading off to University at Coventry, he raced in various senior karting leagues nationally, achieving National Championships in 2015 and 2016.

George’s introduction to esports and EPIC.LAN came soon after joining the esports society at Coventry, and through word of mouth came along to volunteer as a league ops admin for EPIC26. Since then, he’s helped at the majority of EPIC.LAN events since 2019 and also various B2B activations as a freelancer before becoming a full-time member of the team in 2022 with his primary project being Race Director for the 2023 Ferrari Esports Series.

Alongside league operations work, George also works closely with Dan Oxborrow, EPIC.LAN’s Development Manager, to assist our tournament platform clients and work to continually improve and iterate on the platform’s features.
