RuneFest 2025
In February 2025, EPIC.LAN was engaged to provide a 200 player LAN area for the long awaited return of RuneFest, Jagex’s flagship community event celebrating the world of Runescape. As part of the brief, EPIC.LAN worked closely with the developers at Jagex to implement some unique security requirements in order to protect player accounts and game code for new features only announced during the event. EPIC.LAN worked closely with both the organisers and NEC providers to make sure that all power and network requirements were also handled stress-free while also providing an event crew to manage the area throughout the event.
H4: EGX 2025
EPIC.LAN supported EGX 2025 at London’s ExCeL with over 150 playable PC positions as part of the free to play LAN zone and EGX Arena featuring professional esports tournaments for Rainbow 6 Siege, Tekken and even Beyblade X. EPIC.LAN provided the full service from setup and installation, through to live event crew, guest management and technical support. As part of the LAN zone setup, we also provided 6 racing rigs including a drift setup and Farming Simulator rig. EPIC.LAN also deployed third party management tools in order to control PC security and play sessions so that as many guests as possible had the chance to get in some gaming time as part of the busy show.
