Renting gaming equipment for your event or hiring operational support can seem complicated. As one of the UK’s most well-established gaming event management companies, we have more than 20+ years of experience delivering success for events like yours.
We’ve put together our answers to some of the most common questions we get to provide you with the key details you need to know about our equipment rentals and support services.
If there is anything further you’d like to know about partnering with EPIC.LAN, please contact our team to see how we can help.
How long can I rent equipment for?
You can rent gaming equipment, networking equipment and everything else you need from a single day through to a few weeks. EPIC.LAN rentals caters for gaming events of all shapes and sizes – simply fill out our equipment hire form and a member of our team will get back to you soon.
Do you deliver and set up the equipment?
Yes, our service can include delivery, set up and packdown of all equipment for your event. Alternatively, if you know what you’re doing (and have the relevant insurance), you can dry hire from us and collect from our Cheshire-based warehouse.
How far in advance should I book?
We would always recommend booking at least few weeks in advance of your event, especially during busy event seasons. But we can often accommodate short notice requests too, and we’ve even been known to help out with same day emergencies.
Fill out our project form with details of your event and requirements, and our team will get back to you asap with a quote.
Do you work with venues and event organisers directly?
Yes we do. Our team are experts in gaming event operations and logistics, so to make everything easier we can liaise directly with venues to ensure a smooth launch.
Can you support large-scale gaming events?
We provide support for events of any scale, from small private parties through to major conferences and exhibitions, large-scale LAN parties and esports events.
Fill out our project form and our team will get back to you to suggest the best support options and packages for your event size.
Are your services UK-wide?
We cover the whole of the UK and beyond. Please note that our warehouse is based in Cheshire, so you will need to factor in delivery costs when renting our equipment for events around the UK.
Do you provide on-site technical support?
Our team of experts can provide on-site technical support to help your event run smoothly. We can cover everything from setting up and running gaming PCs, providing dedicated networking support for more complex events, and wider event and broadcast production support.
What happens if there is a technical issue during the event?
If we’ve provided a fully managed service, then we’ll be there to help you through every step to resolve any technical issues.
If you’ve dry hired from us, then support will be limited out of hours, so we would always recommend making sure you have somebody with you who knows what they’re doing!
Can you pre-install games on the consoles and gaming PCs?
Yes, we can pre-install games and software on all of our PCs, gaming consoles and racing simulators before the event, as long as you own digital copies of the games you want us to pre-install.
